Charlotte Keywood

Charlotte is a pharmaceutical physician with 30 years’ experience of global clinical research and drug development, translational medicine, medical regulatory, medical marketing, pharmacovigilance and investor relations, working in US and European biotech, mid-size and start-up companies.  She has extensive product development expertise, using both traditional and innovative approaches, in all phases from pre-clinical, through proof-of concept, to post-registration, product launch and marketing development, for NCEs, advanced medical therapies (stem cells) and medical devices in multiple therapy areas.   

She has been involved in numerous neuroscience development programmes from Phases 1 to 4 and has extensive pre and post marketing regulatory experience working with country specific health authorities, EMA and US FDA and successful marketing authorisations.   

She is a specialist trained in cardiology with additional clinical experience in acute and general medicine, intensive care and cardiothoracic surgery; and is a member of the Royal Colleges of Physicians and the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine.
