Sally is a seasoned pharmaceutical executive with 19 years of extensive experience in Medical Affairs and Clinical Research. As a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine, she has held prominent leadership roles across the UK, Europe, Canada, and North America, demonstrating expertise in global medical board management. Her diverse therapeutic area experience spans Vaccines, Oncology, Immunology, Respiratory, Allergy, Dermatology, Osteoporosis, and Cardiovascular Disease (CVD). With a proven track record in transformation, restructuring, and change management, Sally has successfully built and led high-performing teams while navigating complex industry landscapes. She possesses deep medical expertise, having led multiple successful product launches across various therapeutic areas and international markets. Her experience in alliance management, biotech and vaccine mergers, oncology divestments, and strategic influence in national vaccination policy decisions further underscores her industry impact. A highly driven and goal-oriented leader, Sally thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments, seamlessly integrating scientific and commercial priorities.

Sally has held multiple leadership roles throughout her career having spent 14 years at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) before becoming an independent consultant in 2023. Before joining GSK, she was a Medical Advisor for Cardiovascular at Servier. Her early medical career includes roles in the National Health Service (NHS) as a Senior House Officer in Surgical Training at Cheltenham General Hospital, Senior House Officer in the Emergency Department at Oxford John Radcliffe Hospital

Sally has extensive experience with biologics, respiratory inhalers, vaccines, oncology treatments, topical creams, retinoids, and oral medications. Her therapeutic expertise covers oncology, immunology, and respiratory conditions, while her functional expertise spans medical affairs, clinical research and operations, regulatory and policy influence, and strategic leadership and transformation. She is a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (FFPM) at the Royal College of Physicians and holds a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Pharmaceutical Medicine, a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine (MFPM) , MRCS Parts 1 & 2 from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and an MBChB from the University of Bristol School of Medical Sciences.

Throughout her career, Sally has achieved significant milestones, including restructuring and leading the European Medical Leadership Team, securing additional investment to accelerate product launches, and integrating a new European Oncology medical team following an oncology biotech merger. She successfully outsourced Medical Information and Pharmacovigilance operations across Europe, led the global transformation of GSK’s Medical Affairs Clinical Operations Partnership Operating Model, and spearheaded a cultural transformation in Canada, achieving an ‘outstanding’ country audit within 18 months. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in influencing the UK’s Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunization (JCVI) to include Rotavirus in the national Universal Mass Vaccination (UMV) program, securing an aligned GSK tender. Sally continues to leverage her deep industry expertise to drive innovation, optimize medical affairs strategy, and enhance patient outcomes on a global scale.
